Audi engineers are committed to providing safe vehicles. While the S-series cars are long on performance, it doesn’t mean they are short on safety and they offer comprehensive protection for every conceivable safety situation.

Brakes
Ventilated, cross-drilled brake discs of 14.4 inches at the front and 12.8 inches at the rear are specified for fade resistance and for optimum braking performance. Special 8-piston calipers at the front wheels, together with single-piston calipers at the rear, improve braking response significantly.

quattro®
This is the first Audi to use the asymmetric, dynamic torque split principle, which optimizes the road dynamics and emphasis the supreme character of the Audi RS 4. The advantages to a 40/60 split is more emphasis on power toward the rear of the vehicle for optimized cornering.
